Apple TV Hard Drive Upgrade Tutorial
Well, this didn’t take long, did it?
This tutorial shows how quick and easy it is to upgrade from the 40gb to a (in this case) 120gb hard drive. Enjoy.

Please note: I whipped this up in about an hour, so forgive any bugs. It seems to work great, but we’ll see!
According to our traffic software and FeedBurner, we have about 800 visitors per day and some 200+ of you subscribe to our headlines via RSS.
What I’m curious about is this:
Who are you people? What do you do? What kind of Mac do you use? Do you think I’m pretty? Did you catch the Who reference in the subject?
Leave a comment (no registration required!) and tell us (and your fellow readers) about yourself, your Mac(s) and what you’d like to see on BGM in the future.
I’ll start:
Although Parallels Desktop for Mac has been out for a year now, there is one lesser known and unused aspect that has been seriously overlooked.
Did you know that Parallels Transporter for Windows or Mac can install an ‘agent’ on any Windows or OS X machine, thus enabling you to then create a Parallels virtual machine from any Windows computer? Did you know it does it over the network and is so quick and easy that even a sales or marketing person could do it. (Subtle dig or clever innuendo? You decide!)
The following few pages detail how to migrate an existing Windows installation to a Parallels VM over the network. Join us on this fantastic journey, won’t you?

How many instances of Apple computers or products can you remember seeing in the movies? Off the top of my head, here are a few:
Independence Day – Saving the world with a PC virus!
Children of Men – Sporting a TAM!
Men in Black – Aw hell naw!
Constantine – No one saw the movie, much less the Mac…
I use a glorious 17″ Macbook Pro. How about YOU?

While reading the Google Mac Blog, I noticed an interesting blurb about the ‘Apple Company Store’ which evidently sells Apple related swag such as (presumably) shirts, cups, t-shirts and so on.
Anyone been there? Anyone know what all is available and how much it costs? I could really go for a nice bag or official coffee mug…

Parallels is having a special for on their Desktop for Mac!
Buy one copy for a mere $59.99 ($20 off regular) or get 2 copies for $109.99 ($50 off). Perfect for a small business or household!
Looks like it works for multiple copies, so stock up!
We’ve put our bad-ass logo on some rather cool stuff, ready to wear/drink from/display at your whim. The main point of doing this is to get that name and logo out there, so there is a bare minimum markup on any of the BGM branded stuff you buy.
Some of this stuff worked out rather well, and I’ve already placed an order on my own for a shirt, hat, bumper-sticker and a mug. In particular, the large mug, which looks awesome.
So support your local BGM today!
