With my iPod just passing the 1 year warranty mark, and me forgetting to buy AppleCare, I am kicking myself every time it skips or doesn’t power up immediately (it’s fine, but I’m paranoid).
I buy it for all of the machines at work, but always forget the little stuff.

What is the Google Desktop, you may find yourself asking? Well Skippy, here’s the deal: Google Desktop creates an index of your system and its contents, then returns the results in a familiar Google interface, as if you were searching the web. In fact, it can display results of searches of either kind with results from both the internet and your system.
