MAC, when used to indicate a Macintosh computer, is not accurate. Using all capital letters denotes an acronym, which is not correct in this context.

Quickie Safe Mode tip for Parallels or VMWare
After a recent software update trashed my XP virtual machine, I needed to boot into Safe Mode to make a repair. None of the ‘normal’ Windows keystrokes seemed to be helping, until I discovered that what was needed was for the following keys to be held down as the vm booted:
