QuickGold and Poof declutter your iPhone and speed up app launches

One of the downsides of the App Store has been that iPhones (and Touches, of course) are stuffed with new apps, making home screens messy and hard to navigate. … Step Three: Launch QuickGold by pressing the Home button once (while you are already on the Home screen) and type in a character or two of the program you want to launch.

Major iPhone developer quits…

In fact, he says, he’s so pleased with Apple, that he’s going to work exclusively with them, and will pass on the chance to work on other platforms, like Google’s Android.

…Call me a proponent of free markets, but I think Apple needs to have a clearly-documented policy for approving submissions to the iPhone App Store, and it should be: • Publish all software submitted to Apple, as long as the software isn’t actively harmful to users, illegal, and does not violate Apple’s agreements with cell phone vendors.

Wanted: Apple eMate 300

I’ve been looking for a working, complete packaged 300 for awhile now. however, the only ones I can find are on eBay and cost a small fortune in shipping and have caveats like ‘doesnt work’ or ‘missing screen’ and other minor annoyances.200809220028.jpg So, I’d like to call upon the massive resources of the BGM community to acquire one. We can work out a cash deal, or a free banner ad to a site of your choice or even a swap for some of the Mac crap I have.
