App store reviews now require purchase or download

Some good news from those of us who are tired of the inane reviews of software in the App Store. Apple is now requiring that people have actually downloaded or purchased the software before allowing them to post a review.

The new version, called ‘LightSaber Unleashed
icon‘ is timed to release alongside the new Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

Major iPhone developer quits…

The developer of Trism
icon, Steve Demeter, quit his day job after making over $250,000 since his app launched in the App Store
icon. Yeah, that’s about 2 months for one goofy assed game.

I’ve been looking for a working, complete packaged 300 for awhile now. however, the only ones I can find are on eBay and cost a small fortune in shipping and have caveats like ‘doesnt work’ or ‘missing screen’ and other minor annoyances.200809220028.jpg
So, I’d like to call upon the massive resources of the BGM community to acquire one. We can work out a cash deal, or a free banner ad to a site of your choice or even a swap for some of the Mac crap I have.
