5 more ideas for iPhone apps

I just can't stop giving!

Here are 5 more ideas for aspiring iPhone app developers. Again, all i ask is that if you use an idea, you include 'Concept by BabyGotMac.com' in your about/documentation section.

1.) Tabbed categories on the home screen - a way to create sections for 'apps', 'games', utilities', etc. Click a tab to see the group.

2.) Password gestures - 'Draw' a certain pattern on the screen to login to the phone or a site. Doodle to open an app or web page.

3.) Password protect apps - Got sensitive email or bookmarks on your iPhone and don't want gawkers to see it, but still want to let them check out your baby? Lock those apps with a password!

4.) Shortcuts - Put a shortcut to a site or app sub-section (like contacts or 'sound settings' in the SpringBoard or Home screen.

5.) Drag and drop icon mover - I'd like an EDIT button for my home screen...wherein I click 'Edit' and can them drag and drop icons to where I want them to be. Yes, rSBT will let you arrange icons, but it takes numerous save/restarts to get everything in the right place.

Alright dev guys, get to work!

  • I have the best idea for the app store ever! it would simply be a network similar to that of facebook or myspace, however be made spacifically for bands. i wish for an app where you can see a band, its members, sample their music/videos. However NOT professional bands as in already famous more like garage bands (from teens) I myself am 16 and the bassist for a band.
