Apple: Worst Week Ever

I won’t comment too in depth on this, but I’d hate to be a member of the Apple implementations team today, what with the .Mac to MobileMe transition failing so miserably (still not up as of a few minutes ago) and then todays activation server failures.

As someone who stood at an Apple store from 6:30a to 12:30p, only to walk out with both an old and a new iPhone - neither of which were working, I’m sorely disappointed. My new phone finally sent me a ‘welcome’ text message at 2:45p - but still can’t connect to iTunes to activate (or synch for that matter).

I’m sure that the days ahead will result in some bad press for Apple, and it will probably be well deserved.

True, but it isn't like Apple hasn't been through this before. Experience is supposed to breed knowledge...

I guess it needs to be put into perspective as to the global side and huge undertaking that this is. I think we forget it sometimes. Think LN....it still does not work...
