MMS comes to the iPhone - SwirlyMMS

Leave it to the community to solve yet another long-standing peeve of most iPhone users.
The guys over at SwirlySpace have put together an app that will receive and send MMS messages, as opposed to having to suffer with viewmymessage.com.

SwirlyMMS is available via Installer for your jailbroken iPhone.

‘Extended Preferences’ for iPhone

If you are one of the folks wanting to try ‘Extended Preferences’ today via Installer, and can’t get it to happen it, here’s a fix:

Download the file from the dev site
Unzip it
FTP/SSH into your iPhone and rename ‘/Applications/Preferences.app’ to ‘Preferences.app.BAK’
Copy the new, downloaded ‘Preferences.app’ to the /Applications folder on your iPhone
