Dear Apple. Please add this iPod feature!

Dear Apple,
We've owned iPods since the first version. In fact, we've had one of each generation/iteration to date. We've been fairly happy overall with your wonderful little music machine.
However, today we come to you, hat in hand, asking for a feature to be added to the next firmware revision (in particular to the 5th gen video, thanks).
As you know, when a track is playing, you can hit the '(c)enter' button and toggle from song position to ratings to the artwork display screen.
We respectfully request that you add the following set of toggles.

After hitting the last toggle command, please add three more options:

On the next toggle click, highlight the current track title. If this is the option the user chooses, let them then hit 'play/pause' and jump to an alphabetical listing of songs, with the current focal point being the currently playing track.

On the next toggle, highlight the Artists name. On 'play/pause' click, jump to the root of that Artists folder...again, highlighting the current track might be a good idea.

Finally, on the third successive click, highlight the Album name. On 'play/pause', jump to that albums folder...

We can't count the number of time's we're in shuffle play or even in a huge playlist and suddenly have a hankering to listen to more Johnny Cash, but we're driving and we don't want to kill innocent bystanders while scrolling and clicking our way to 'Ring of Fire'. June just wouldn't approve of that, no sir.

In closing, Apple, we sincerely appreciate your efforts, and respectfully request that you add our feature request. And also, send us a few free iPods to give our heathen children and friends. :)

Faithfully yours,
BabyGotMac.com
