Find free apps on the new iTunes App Store

As you likely know, iTunes 7.7 has been released, and the iPhone application store is now live. If you're looking for the free stuff first, try this link:

http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewTop?id=25204&ign-mscache=1&popId=27

This will list all of the apps that are, for now, free. Of particular note are AIM, Facebook, MySpace (ugh) and Twitterific (which is shareware on the Mac.

Remember: you have to have the 2.0 firmware installed to use these apps - that is expected to 'officially' come out this morning, but is available via stealth mode if you just can't wait.

Note: I have to admit I am a little more excited about the app store than a middle aged man has any right to be. Damn you Apple, and your magnetic charm.
