Greetings, friend! Looks like this is your first time here. As such, we encourage you to subscribe to our site via RSS feed or by email so you can get updates as they happen. Thanks for stopping by!
The fix:
In Windows, locate, then click the Parallels Tools Center icon in the tray.

You will then be presented with a dialog like this:

Choose ‘Yes’, and your beachballs will stop immediately, yay! But, in order to make the change semi-permanent, read on.
Click the ‘Start’ button, then ‘Run’.

In the ‘Run’ dialog, type in ‘msconfig’, then click ‘OK’ or ht ‘Enter’.

You will now be presented with the Microsoft Configuration Editor (msconfig). Click the ‘Startup’ tab, and look for the ‘ParallelsToolsCenter’ option. Uncheck the box beside it:

Now click ‘OK’. You will be shown this dialog:

Depending on your current workflow, you can choose to restart the system now or at your convenience later.
The end:
While parallels 3120 is in beta, and is very robust and stable, the ‘beachball of death’ is more than a little annoying. As mentioned above, if you can stand the loss of time and clipboard synchronization, you’ll be quite happy with the results of disabling the Tools Center.
