Free streaming tv and movies - Hulu

Hulu.com is live, finally. The site, which streams hundreds of movies and television shows, has been in private beta for months, but is now public.

And yes, it is fully Mac compatible, yay!

Some examples of what’s available (some of my favorites):

Movies:
The Big Lebowski
The Jerk
Dirty Work
The Usual Suspects

TV:
30 Rock
The Office (US)
Heroes
Friday Night Lights
Arrested Development
24

Some oldies but goodies:
Fantasy Island (yes, really)
The A-Team
Miami Vice

Oh, and did I mention the HD collection?

It really is a great site - the video loads fast and buffers behind the scenes. There are numerous features to make it likable, including being able to jump to chapters/segments as well as full screen as well as a lightbox-type feature that dims the remainder of the screen to make the video more visible.
One can also subscribe to specific tv shows or channels, and there’s a queue feature so you can remember what you haven’t watched yet. :)
Overall, very cool stuff, especially for free.
