I got Leopard build 9A241 (the version released at WWDC), and it has QuickLook. I don't have it anymore (I went back to Tiger...too many bugs), but I remember it is a part of Spotlight. When you open the Spotlight window (either by pressing Option+Command+Space or by clicking Show All in the Spotlight results list), you can Option-click (or maybe it's Command-click or something like that) on a result and it will open with QuickLook. QuickLook plays QuickTime-compatible movies, audio files, photos (with the slideshow interface you see above), and maybe more--I don't remember.

Basically, QuickLook is a very fast way to preview things without having to open an application.
