How to: add an app source to your iPhone Installer

WordPress database error: [Column: 'term_id' in field list is ambiguous]
SELECT name, term_id identificativo FROM wp_terms LEFT JOIN wp_term_taxonomy USING (term_id) WHERE taxonomy = 'post_tag'

If you are one of the folks who have ‘jail broken’ their iPhone or iPod Touch, you have probably seen pointers that will tell you to ‘add a source’ to install a program. Basically, this means that you are telling Installer.app to look at a different server in order to gain access to more software.

To do so, open Installer, then click ‘Sources’ on the far right:

Next, click ‘Edit’ on the upper right, then choose ‘New’. Enter the URL given by your software provider, then click ‘OK’:

Installer will refresh your software database and you should now be able to access many more programs. For a list of sources, check out our friends at AppleiPhoneSchool.com.
