How to: add an app source to your iPhone Installer
If you are one of the folks who have 'jail broken' their iPhone or iPod Touch, you have probably seen pointers that will tell you to 'add a source' to install a program. Basically, this means that you are telling Installer.app to look at a different server in order to gain access to more software.
To do so, open Installer, then click 'Sources' on the far right:

Next, click 'Edit' on the upper right, then choose 'New'. Enter the URL given by your software provider, then click 'OK':
Installer will refresh your software database and you should now be able to access many more programs. For a list of sources, check out our friends at AppleiPhoneSchool.com.
