iToner update adds iPhone 1.1.1 support
iPhone users who want to use their own ringtones should check out the just updated iToner, from Ambrosia Software.
It adds support for the 1.1.1 firmware, and is available as a 30 day fully functional trial. It costs a mere $15, which, when you compare unlimited personal ringtones versus 15 iTunes tones, is a no-brainer.
It works perfectly. Simply launch it, drag an audio file into the window and click the ‘Sync’ button (it is the ‘home’ button in the iToner app). This is the ringtone functionality that should have been bundled with the iPhone in the first place.
