KnowLeopard - Innovative new Leopard training software

KnowMac today announced that KnowLeopard, an innovative new software product to help make learning about Mac OS X Leopard easy, is now shipping. KnowLeopard covers fourteen chapters including Time Machine, Spaces, iChat, Mail and much much more. Common tasks are covered as well as hints and tricks.

KnowLeopard is waffle-free and cuts the reading to a minimum. KnowLeopard is full of screenshots and videos showing common tasks being carried out. Click any of them and KnowLeopard’s QuickZoom is activated causing the full-screen KnowLeopard interface to get out of the way, leaving you looking at your desktop with the chosen screenshot or videos. It is then easy to follow along, repeating videos as often as you like.

Profiles are built-in so that up to four people can use a single installation of KnowLeopard, recording progress and saving bookmarks.

As well as the screenshots and videos, KnowLeopard has an optional voice track which can be paused, restarted or muted. Take KnowLeopard at your own pace.

KnowLeopard is ideal for those new to the Mac or who are upgrading from Tiger. Mac experts will find KnowLeopard an excellent reference, as new Leopard features are highlighted.

The full list of chapters are: Desktop, Finder and Quick Look, Mail, Safari, Address Book, iCal, Time Machine, Dashboard, Spotlight, Spaces, iChat, Front Row, Other Apps and Technically Speaking. A full list of features plus a demo video is available from the KnowMac website.

System Requirements:
KnowLeopard requires any Intel Mac with a DVD drive or any widescreen PowerPC Mac with a DVD drive and Mac OS X 10.5.1 or higher.

Pricing and Availability:
KnowLeopard is shipping today for $34.99 USD. Free shipping is available to US, Canada, EU and UK.
