Use a network mounted drive with Time Machine

Disappointed when Leopard arrived and you couldn't back up to a shared network drive using Time Machine? Well put away that razor blade, Sally. We've got a trick for you.

Open Terminal (Applications/Utilities) and enter the following (on one line, as one command), then hit Enter:

defaults write com.apple.systempreferences TMShowUnsupportedNetworkVolumes 1

Open Time Machine preferences and enjoy the benefits of network storage.
