The first-gen iPod Nano – unsafe at any volume

Do you own a first gen Nano? If so, you might want to check out the Apple support page – especially if it seems to be running hot.
Evidently there is a know acknowledged glitch that can cause them to malfunction slightly, and by that I mean ‘catch on fire and explode’. Nothing major though.

Maybe they were baking a pie?

A fire at a building in Cupertino has caused damage to Apples Headquarters.
The building is allegedly used for public relations and visitors, but my guess is that this was probably started by someone leaving their Macbook Pro sitting idle for more than 15 minutes, thus causing an unholy conflagration as only metal on jeans can.
